English as a Foreign Language (EFL)

The Midlands Academy offers courses in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) aimed to develop and improve skills in spoken English, listening, reading and writing. Courses are available at levels to suit various abilities and can be booked from two weeks up to one academic year.

Students can choose either the Standard* or Intensive course*. All students are carefully monitored to ensure progress with regular tutorials and evaluations.

*Standard course (15 hours tuition + 5 hours directed study) Allows students the freedom to extend their learning over the period of their choice.

*Intensive course (20 hours tuition + 15 hours directed study) Designed for students who need to achieve their performance standards in a limited timeframe.(See IELTS)

Directed study On standard courses students have individual access to interactive internet programmes and on intensive courses these are augmented by personal progressive programs supported at all levels with a personal audio CD. To register or obtain more information, please click here
